The Southend Linux User Group meets each Thursday to chat about Linux and other computer related subjects, the venue is large and spacious enough to cope with individuals and groups with room to spare and in addition has generous parking facilities. Meeting held at:

All our members are devoted linux enthusiasts and committed to the use of Open Source software, promoting and facilatating it's use where ever possible. Any work or documentation generated or endorsed by SoSLUG or it's members is distributed under the "Creative Commons License". Supported distribution's by SoSLUG members, is not confined to the traditional Mandriva, Ubuntu, SuSE and Debian flavours of Linux although it must be said these are by far some of the simpliest to install and use, we are constantly looking to broaden our range of expertise and experience in both distributions and applications.

As a general rule we do not support M$ Windows, it's variants or associated applications we are after all a club devoted to endorse Linux, however if it's in relation to a migration from, and this is a support issue that we can help with, our members are happy to advise to the best of our ability.
