SoSLUG O'Reilly Book Reviews
Today Friday 17th April SoSLUG have received our very first package from O'Reilly User Group Programme, consisting of three brand new books which we can review, only one of which seems to be from the O'Reilly press. Anyway on offer are three books for us to review, we should I think make as much use of this facility as possible.
Jaunty Launch Party
MediaShed Unit 38
At SoSLUG it seems we need to celebrate something and given the new releases of Ubuntu have always fell on a Thursday we thought we throw a launch party. Perhaps not a party in the usual sense of the word, as what we aim to do is a mini install fest. Hopefully, we will have early copies of the release candidate 32 bit Intel version to give away.
